Goal-Oriented: Leap in Membership Scale
The meeting pointed out that the current membership scale in Ningbo is not commensurate with its regional status, and there is an urgent need to accelerate the pace of membership development. In the next step, relying on the existing resource foundation, efforts will be made to achieve a leap in the number of members.
Mechanism Innovation: Dual-Track Operation of Secretariat "Weekly Meetings + Joint Teams"
To ensure the continuous advancement of work, the meeting decided to establish a regular meeting system for the Secretariat, which will be held once a week in principle, in forms including offline, video, or telephone conferences. Hosted by the Chairman Unit, the Secretariat will be responsible for specific implementation and coordination. At the same time, a "Joint Work Team" will be established—each member unit will recommend 1-2 colleagues with business visit needs to join the Secretariat, so as to promote membership development simultaneously during customer visits and achieve resource sharing and mutual empowerment.
Unified Rhythm: "Regularization" of Quarterly Meetings
The meeting clarified that from now on, a plenary meeting will be held in the first working week of each quarter. The time will be coordinated and arranged by the Secretariat entrusted by the Chairman Unit to ensure unified work rhythm and synchronized information. Before the end of the year, the association will formulate a key work plan for 2026, list 3 core tasks, and decompose them into each quarter.
Resource Integration: "Dual-Drive" of Local Reception + National Activation
In terms of membership development, the association will make full use of the resources of the local Chairman Unit to assist in receiving non-local members and strengthen cross-regional linkage; at the same time, it will tap potential members, especially those units that have established contacts but are not active. Through "one-on-one" visits and policy promotion, dormant resources will be activated quickly.
Service Upgrade: "Dual Approach" of Cultural and Creative Products + Value-Added Services
To enhance the association's attractiveness, the meeting proposed to design diversified association services and explore the development of cultural and creative products with port characteristics; in addition, cooperation will be established with institutions such as law firms and banks to provide members with one-stop value-added services including legal and financial services.
Brand Building: "Dual Efforts" of Media Promotion + Industry Activities
The meeting emphasized the need to strengthen external exchanges and association development, encourage member units to jointly organize or participate in industry activities such as salons, forums, and exhibitions (e.g., International Supply Chain Logistics Exposition (ISL Expo)), and enhance the association's popularity in the local area and the industry. Through media promotion (in collaboration with China Shipping Gazette (CSG)), case promotion, and other methods, the brand influence of ISEA Ningbo Port will be continuously expanded.
Statement from the Chairman Unit: Taking the Lead in Implementation and Comprehensive Empowerment
At the meeting, the Chairman Unit promised to take the lead in implementing various work, actively promote resource integration and organizational coordination, drive all members to participate in the association's development, and inject sustained momentum into the high-quality development of ISEA Ningbo Port.
