太平船务(PIL)执行主席张松声,在新加坡接受中国交协航运物流分会常务副会长、中国航务周刊总编辑专访
新加坡当地时间5月7日上午,全球排名前列的知名海运集装箱运输企业太平船务(PIL)执行主席张松声(S.S.Teo),在位于新加坡的总部接受了中国交通运输协会航运物流分会常务副会长、中国航务周刊总编辑陈宏兵先生的专访,并在专访结束后,邀请太平船务首席执行官高瑞泽(Lars Kastrup),与来访的中国交通运输协会航运物流分会常务副会长陈宏兵总编辑和中国交通运输协会航运物流分会秘书长王修平见面。

创办于1967年的太平船务,以新加坡为中心,逐步建立起覆盖全球的航线网络,成为全球集装箱海运市场的佼佼者之一。
针对陈宏兵总编辑在专访中提及的中国-东盟市场机遇、多式联运、绿色发展、供应链稳定等专业问题,张松声主席侃侃而谈,发表了专业且富有建设性的观点(详见中国航务周刊后续报道),并结合太平船务多年扎根中国市场、投资兴业多元发展取得的卓越成就,表达了对中国市场的坚定信心。

专访开始前,中国交通运输协会航运物流分会常务副会长陈宏兵向张松声主席介绍了中国航务周刊和国际航贸物流平台(ISEA)近年来转型发展的最新成果,并重点介绍了将于今年8月21日至23日在上海举办的第二届国际港航物流暨多式联运(上海)展览会的筹备情况。
作为中国航务周刊30年的老朋友,张松声主席愉快地回忆起过往合作的点点滴滴,并对中国航务周刊和ISEA的未来发展表达了诚挚祝福。

On the morning of May 7 (Singapore local time), S.S. Teo, Executive Chairman of Pacific International Lines (PIL) – a world-renowned maritime container transportation enterprise ranking among the top globally, received an exclusive interview from Mr. Chen Hongbing, Executive Vice President of China Communications and Transportation Association - Shipping and Logistics Branch (CCTA-SLB) and Editor-in-Chief of China Shipping Gazette (CSG), at PIL’s headquarters in Singapore. After the interview, S.S. Teo invited Lars Kastrup, Chief Executive Officer of PIL, to meet with the visiting Chen Hongbing (Executive Vice President of CCTA-SLB and Editor-in-Chief of CSG) and Wang Xiuping, Secretary-General of CCTA-SLB.

Founded in 1967, PIL has gradually built a global route network centered in Singapore, becoming one of the leading players in the global container shipping market.
In response to the professional questions raised by Editor-in-Chief Chen Hongbing during the interview – including opportunities in the China-ASEAN market, multimodal transport, green development, and supply chain stability – Chairman S.S. Teo shared in-depth, professional, and constructive perspectives (for detailed coverage, please refer to CSG’s subsequent reports). He also expressed firm confidence in the Chinese market, drawing on PIL’s outstanding achievements from years of rooted development, investment, and diversified business operations in China.
Chairman S.S. Teo stated, “China holds a unique position in the global industrial chain and supply chain – it is safe, stable, and highly resilient.” He firmly believes that now is the best time to invest in China; PIL is optimistic about its long-term development in China and will continue to increase investment in the Chinese market.
Before the interview, Chen Hongbing, Executive Vice President of CCTA-SLB, briefed Chairman S.S. Teo on the latest achievements of China Shipping Gazette (CSG) and the International Shipping Enterprise Association (ISEA) in their transformation and development in recent years. He also highlighted the preparation progress of the 2nd International Supply Chain Logistics Exposition (ISL Expo 2024), which is scheduled to be held in Shanghai from August 21 to 23 this year.
As a long-time friend of China Shipping Gazette (CSG) for 30 years, Chairman S.S. Teo happily recalled the details of past cooperation and extended sincere wishes for the future development of CSG and ISEA.

After the interview, Chen Hongbing, Executive Vice President of CCTA-SLB, presented a souvenir to PIL on behalf of China Shipping Gazette (CSG) and ISEA. Chairman S.S. Teo accepted the souvenir on behalf of PIL, and both parties reached a consensus on strengthening communication and cooperation in the next step.
